HÉNNÉ - HENNA

Le henné traditionnel indien (mehndi) est appliqué lors des cérémonies et des célébrations comme les mariages, les naissances (aussi "blessing ways"), ou encore lors de fêtes. Mon approche s'ancre dans ces coutumes, où j'ai pu apprendre auprès de femmes pratiquant cet art durant mon enfance. Les motifs peuvent symboliser l'abondance, la chance, la protection ou la joie.

Henna (mehndi) inspired by the ancient indian tradition can be applied during ceremonies and celebrations such as weddings, births (also "blessing ways"), or even at festivals. My approach is anchored in this tradition, as I was able to learn from women practicing this craft during my childhood. The designs can symbolize abundance, luck, protection or joy.
